House Speaker Mike Johnson breaks into an unexpected impression of President Donald Trump while joking about the president’s late-night phone calls.
“The man calls me at, like, 1:00 in the morning and also at 5 a.m.,” Johnson says, reenacting Trump asking, “Mike, are you sleeping?”
“No, sir. Of course. Sleep is for sissies, we know.”
Johnson then catches himself: “I’m not going to do the impression in front of you. I’m sorry. I didn’t plan that.”
