If it wasn’t for Mike Tomlin, Aaron Rodgers might be retired right now.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback told SiriusXM NFL Radio that the former Steelers head coach helped him find his love for football. after losing it while playing for the New York Jets.

“It just kind of beats you up a little bit,” Rodgers said. “I didn’t want that to be my ending in the game that I love so much.”
After 15 awesome years with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers had a two year stint with the New York Jets that was an absolute disaster. Rodgers suffered an Achilles tear on the night of his Jets debut. He said even after the following year of rehab to get back to football action, he was “never feeling like myself” when he returned.
After being cut by the Jets, Rodgers signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in-large part because of Mike Tomlin.
