The United States continued to showcase explosive attacking football and grabbed a third goal thanks to the brilliance of Folarin Balogun. From near the center circle, Malik Tillman delivered a perfectly weighted through ball that tore apart Paraguay’s defense.
Balogun sprinted onto the pass, leaving defender Omar Alderete desperately lunging to stop him before falling to the ground. With open space ahead, the American striker calmly cut inside and unleashed a powerful right-footed shot, firing the ball into the roof of the net. Goalkeeper Orlando Gill had no chance of making the save, as Balogun completed his brace to extend the hosts’ lead to 3-0.
