"I remember standing there thinking we're all going to be ok," Poppe said when talking about how she felt while waiting to hear if she would make the top three.

Throughout her journey, Poppe's parents have supported her along the way and have made appearances on the show.

"It's been stressful for me it's been a whirlwind. For them, I know me being gone for this long, I'm so busy out there and we don't get to talk very much. I know that they miss me a lot, but I think that they know this is what I've always wanted. I think it's all going to be worth it," Poppe said.

We wish her the best of luck and send her some “Iowa love” as she performs in the two night Idol finale, starting Sunday night on TV9! She’s a genuine, humble and talented gal who will go far, no matter what.
