So You Think You Can Dance Season 15 Episode 10
So You Think You Can Dance Season 15 is back in action tonight . Which dance styles are you hoping they'll perform live
Watching over this routine made our hearts sing.
Jensen & Jay Jay's African Jazz routine to "Run" by Hybrid Core
Genessy & Slavik's Broadway routine to "Someone to Watch Over Me" by Ella Fitzgerald & The London Symphony Orchestra.
Hannahlei & Cole's Disco routine to "Last Dance" by Donna Summer.
Chelsea & Evan's Contemporary routine to "Snowing" by Sonya Kitchell.
Genessy & Slavik's Jive routine to "Jump, Jive An' Wail" by The Brian Setzer Orchestra.
Magda & Darius' Smooth Jazz routine to "Fever" by Peggy Lee
Lisa Pawelski Proposed new rule: never have anyone tap for the first time, when they’ve worked so hard to get to the live shows. This was a really bad—and awfully unjust—production decision. Not a fair fight. Love the show—and hope lesson learned?
Lori Velazquez Please bring back Top 20 and dances with the Allstars. Please re-evaluate including Vanessa as a judge. I’m sure you have seen all the comments about her “critiques” she really adds nothing as a judge.
Lisa Pawelski SYTYCD: Love ya. But could we ditch the nonstop audience screaming during the opening number and sometimes over Cat’s commentary? Maybe (maybe?) it’s spontaneous in the room—but from home it just reads like someone’s begging the audience. Love the backstage prep room shots. Truly wish this were not such an abbreviated season. And Vanessa is growing on me.
Aaron T. McGee I’m still wondering why Vanessa is a judge on this show. I’ve been watching since season 1 and she makes me question not watching each season I see her reappear.
As for Chelsea and Evan… the judges didn’t even give them a fighting chance to stay in this competition. Not to take anything away from the other dancers, who are all working hard, but… the judges clearly decided long before we saw the live show, who they were going to throw their weight behind. Out the gate with those standing ovations for others. Then they get to C&E and can’t even otter their names to offer a real critique. #SYTYCD is so much better than this. Nigel showed his true colors when he outright blamed Chelsea for the entire thing. She held her head high and her smile was beautiful. She handled it with grace. Nigel as seasoned as you are, I expected more. Somehow every other dancer managed to be called out and even when they didn’t do so good, the judges encouraged them. Interested to see how next week goes now that the judges target(s) are out. Shame, shame, shame.
