A Milwaukee police officer was shot Wednesday evening.
Milwaukee, WI – Multiple people were shot at a scene in Milwaukee Wednesday evening, including a Milwaukee Police Officer.
The incident happened just after 5 p.m. near North 28th and West Wright Street, according to the Journal Sentinel.
The police officer and others were shot, but no details have been released at this time about how the shooting happened.
It's unknown of the other people shot were additional victims or suspects.
The officer has been transported to Froedtert Hospital and their condition has not been released.
