Kymberli Joye Sings Oceans (Where My Feet May Fail) by Hillsong United for her The Voice Top 10 performance tonight]
Oceans (Where My Feet May Fail) by Hillsong United – Kymberli picked the song. There was a time in her life when she struggled with depression, and faith brought her out of it. “At this point, no artist can play safe,” says Kelly. That’s why she’s a good coach. Beautiful vocal from Kymberli, with a slow build to a crescendo that washes up like a wave. Very nice. She doesn’t let loose until the bridge and last chorus. If Kymberli stuck to R&B, she might be gone already. She’s found her lane in Gospel music. And it’s a genre that Voice viewers LOVE. I’ll be shocked if she doesn’t make it to next week’s blood bath. Blake calls it her most powerful performance so far. “You were able to reign in and give a controlled tasteful performance.” This is correct. “There is nothing you cannot sing…I felt the anointing through it all,” says Jennifer. Kelly loves that they waited until last week and this week to narrow her lane. “It’s about moving somewhere, touching someone.”

Kymberli Joye Sings Break Every Chain by Tasha Cobbst for her The Voice Top 11 live performance in front of audiences and the Judges
A little girl from Kymberli’s church dressed up as her. “I cried all night,” Kymberli says. As far as the song choice is concerned, she sings it at church all the time. Kelly suggests more head voice, and those are all her notes! Connor from Alberta Canada just LOVES Kymberli. Unsurprisingly, Kymberli is SINGING THE CRAP out of this gospel joint. She’s so good, but it seems like she’s lagging behind a bit. Hopefully this Jesus song keeps her SAFE HALLELUJAH! Magnificent. Kelly and Jennifer are on their feet, totally freaking out. Heh. It ends with all four judges standing. “Sister Kymberli…opened up the doors of that church,” says Jennifer. Kelly says her bold, round tone is from God. She compares her to Jennifer. Oh. Kymberli wants to sing gospel music after the show. That is TOTALLY doable.

Viewers react to Kymberli Joye Oceans Where My Feet May Fail
Kierra Slaughter Y’all must don’t listen to gospel music, in most gospel songs, the singer sings with much power. Kymberli is not screaming, she’s singing! Some of y’all don’t know a good singer when you hear one. I, for one, loved this performance. Kymberli was on fire, the background singers were perfect, the drummer was on point, everything was just in sync for this wonderful performance
Becca Collins Y'all hate all ya want. She did amazing! This is one of my favorite songs and she killed it. That's not screaming, that's worshiping and can not wait for her gospel album
Becki Grace Diaz My favorite part is watching the background vocals and musicians get into it! They were worshipping
Shelia Hancock Screaming like she did is NOT TALENT!!! Anyone can scream but not just anyone can sing! I'm with Susan Lawrence…c'mon coach…do your job! If screaming to the top of your lungs wins…I'll not be watching The Voice no more! js
KayCee Livinadebtfreelife The Lord left an untapped sound on the Earth. We should let these people take it to a new level. Stir spirits and let music warm hearts. Some people just need to turn their volume down.
