Hello Sunday The Voice
Hello Sunday – Team Kelly Clarkson – Mama Knows Best by Jessie J. – The girls are dedicating the song to their parents. Father says the lyrics should be changed to “Daddy knows best.” Kelly won’t put 14 year olds in stilettos! Looks like the parents are stage parents, which makes sense. These two won the Wildcard singoff last week. They were easily the worst of the three acts. This is a better performance, for sure. Still iffy, with pitch and breath problems. But they’re so cute working the stage, they’ll probably escape the bottom 2 this week. John thinks being on the brink of going home last week, pushed them forward. Kelly can’t understand how talented they are! She wants to sing with them. – STREAM
The Voice season 17 Blind Auditions continue with returning coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. In the wake of Adam Levine’s abrupt departure from the show, Blake gal-pal Gwen Stefani takes a seat on the panel. Carson Daly returns as host.
Hello Sunday – Team Kelly – All By Myself by Eric Carmen (YEAH I KNOW CELINE) – To say the tweens bit off more than they could chew is putting it mildly. Not only is the song a huge challenge, but the young ones seem to be cracking under pressure. Going for that big note was a REALLY REALLY REALLY bad idea. Girls, go home and practice more. Good lawd. Kelly is an amazing actress, feigning shock all WHAT WHAT WHAT THAT WAS SO GREAT. No Kelly. It was horrible, and you know it.
Up next is a singing duo performing “This is Me” from “The Greatest Showman.” These two have nice voices but they’re definitely pitchy and don’t have the strongest harmonies. Clearly they’re young, but when one of them belts out the climax and shows off an insane register, Kelly can’t stop herself from spinning around. They reveal that they are just 13 and 14 years old and named Chelsea and Myla. As a duo, they go by the name Hello Sunday and will automatically advance to Team Kelly since no other coach turned their chair.
