Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery Played Entire 2017-18 Season With Torn Rotator Cuff

The Philadelphia Eagles ended their Super Bowl drought earlier this month, defeating the New England Patriots to capture the franchise’s first Lombardi Trophy.

Alshon Jeffrey, who team signed last offseason played a huge role in helping the team win it all, hauling in 57 receptions for 789 yards and nine touchdowns.

In the postseason, Jeffrey was even better, hauling in 12 receptions for 219 yards and 3 touchdowns in three postseason games all while playing with backup quarterback Nick Foles.

But what makes Jeffrey’s 2017 campaign even more impressive is the fact that he did it while dealing with a serious injury:

#Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery had successful surgery this morning on a torn rotator cuff, sources say. He suffered it in training camp and played through it, somehow, on the way to a Super Bowl.

Just imagine how good Jeffrey can be when he’s 100% healthy next season.
