Denver Broncos Stadium Catches On Fire

Well this is the first time in a long time we’ve included ‘catching fire’ and the Denver Broncos in the same sentence. Mile High Stadium broke out in flames Thursday when a fire started in the third level seating area at around 3:00PM MST.

The blaze was reported to have started in the upper deck of the stadium, and quickly spread to other sections. Firefighters were able to contain the fire before it caused too much damage and luckily no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still unknown but many are speculating that it was caused by an electrical malfunction or a discarded cigarette. The Denver Broncos organization has released a statement expressing their shock and sadness at the incident and thanking all those who helped with containing the blaze.
