Twenty years ago she auditioned for a theme park, and was rejected because of her weight. She quit trying after that, turning to the nursing profession. She performs “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman. She’s a big voiced gal. She started off a little shaky, but adding a big note and an extra layer of emotion will probably help her. Mel thought it was pitchy, but thinks her voice is incredible. Ken says, “You are no longer a nurse, you are an artist. Simon thought she was off-key too, but he appreciates that she’s an incredible person. He thinks she can grow.
Her father was killed in a car accident. They were very poor, but they were happy. She performs “I Am Changing” from Dreamgirls. Well. We already have Glennis Grace in the semi-finals. Is there need for another old fashioned belter? Glennis is a better singer. Also–she’s a little flat. Howie calls the performance a “grand finale.” Mel B says, “I adore you…you are incredible. I was right there with you.” Mel B says she never heard that song before? LMAO WHAT. Heidi says her “confidence has finally caught up.” Simon says she owned the stage and the song.” Simon is sure some Broadway producer will snap her up. And that’s a compliment.
