Chris Kroeze Finale – Chris has done his thing week in and week out, without much fanfare or buzz. And yet, here he is in The Voice final. He is for sure the season 15 dark horse. He has won the streaming bonus twice. And with the cumulative streaming totals in play, Chris could be a surprise spoiler in this final.

Chris Kroeze Human

Chris Kroeze sings Human (Original song written by Ross Copperman, Ashley Gorley & Shane McAnally) for his The Voice Season 15 finale performance tonight

Human (Original song written by Ross Copperman, Ashley Gorley & Shane McAnally) – Chris loves the song’s message. Blake thinks it’s the perfect message for a world full of people pointing fingers at each other. Blake loves that Chris can’t be put in a box. O rilly? The song has a very catchy melody and for once, Chris performs a song that has a contemporary sound. And it’s working for him. It’s too bad Chris decided not to take risks this season. He could have handled poppier sounding covers similar to this song. Because he can sing and play. He gets the cheesy choir treatment on the last chorus. Could have done without that, to be honest. Jennifer says Chris has also made her a country fan. She calls his voice “it’s own thing.”Blake repeats JHud about his voice, and calls him had to peg genre wise. Except Chris didn’t show us that AT ALL during the lives. He sang classic country rock week in and week out.

Why is Adam on stage with Carson? Anyway, the host reminds us that the artist with the most streams, combining both cover and original song, will earn a 5x streaming bonus.

Must watch:

Chris won’t break out of his box this week. But why should he?

Chris Kroeze Sings Can’t You See by The Marshall Tucker Band for his The Voice Top 8  performance

Chris chose the song because it’s “awesome” and he grew up with it. Blake likes that Chris stays true to who he is, and brings the party to the room.

Chris does a great job covering old southern rock classics. I’ll bet he’s a big hit at those USO shows he plays. But he has yet to distinguish himself as an original artist.  Kelly calls him “nostalgic” She compares him to Travis Tritt and Guns N Roses. It makes her think about hanging out at the lake with her husband. Blake thanks him for giving the beer drinking back road driving fans of the show someone to root for. Are these compliments?
