Brian King Joseph Violinist SIMON SAYS HE COULD WIN Semi-Finals 2 America’s Got Talent 2018

Surprised Brian isn’t performing later in the show. He’s a front runner! But at least he’s not second or third. In his video package, Brian talks about how playing violin is his therapy for the nerve disease he battles. He performs Kanye West’s “Heartless.” I wish the orchestrations were strippped back so the audience could really experience his talent. The overall sound is generic. But his talent and charisma can’t be denied. LOOK IT’S FLOATING DRUMMERS!Simon and Heidi are on their feet. Howie says it’s the kind of performance to close the show. “You’ve just set the bar for the whole evening.” Mel B. calls him the best of all time. “You ooze confidence,” she says. Heidi calls him lovable. “I have my fingers and toes crossed for you.” Simon says, “This is everything this show should be. You have a real shot here.” Tara asks if he has a message for Kanye. “Take me on tour let’s go!”

Brian talks about his debilitating neuropathy and says he “can’t give up.” As he plays, Brian descends from a platform and performs a very energetic number. His positive, sunny personality combined with his musical chops will get him into the final. “I love you Brian King,” says Heidi. “This was in such a different league to everything else tonight,” says Simon. “This is witnessing star power.” Simon says, “I think you could actually win this show. ” Maybe he could.Howie calls the production “Seamless.” Mel says, “You give us your all every single time.”

Brian thanks the viewers for supporting him in his “fight.”

He played violin on the street to help his single mother. He also suffers from a nerve disease that affects his ability to play. He’s a good violinist, and an energetic performer. He’s also a really likable guy. All these things will help him get votes. Howie says he’s better than “Fiddler on the Roof.” What? “You gave us a proper show tonight,” says Mel. Heidi loves his positivity. Simon also appreciates his positivity and passion. “I really hope America gets behind you,” he says. Brian admits that his hands are completely numb right now.

The Los Angeles local is chasing his dreams. Brian had to overcome some medical issues to keep playing and he gave an electric performance!

Violinist – He’s dreamt of being a kid since he was a kid. Three years ago he was diagnosed with a neuropathy. His hands and toes are numb and painful. He can’t feel the strings when he plays. It’s all muscle memory. He doesn’t know how long he can play. He’s such a young guy. So sad. Brian is an energetic and very talented performer. The crowd is on their feet. He breaks down and cries at the reaction. Heidi runs on stage to give him a big hug. “I felt your music…you just have it,” she says. “You lit this whole entire stage up,” says Mel. “You have an incredible energy, determination,” says Simon. It’s his fav audition of the day. Howie calls him a lesson in how everyone should live their lives. – 4 yeses

He got a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music. He was living his dream, but then was hit with a terrible diagnosis. A nerve disease makes his hands numb. He can still play, but he doesn’t know for how long. His girlfriend has been incredibly supportive. He’s an extremely skilled player, but how exciting is this really? I’m kinda bored, to be honest. If he does advance, it’s the backstory that will propel him. Mel says she “loves a fighter.” Chris admires that he doesn’t allow his pain to define him. Heidi finds his playing “fresh.” Simon says he has “unbelievable personality.” Howie thinks he stepped it up, but reminds him that only 7 acts are advancing.
