Ashton Gill Performs On American Idol Auditions Tonight

Ashton 20 year old from Livingston, LA. The first concert this bridal shop associate ever attended was Hannah Montana aka Miley Cyrus

Ashton Brooke Gill, a graduate of French Settlement High School and current student at Southeastern Louisiana University, will be under the bright lights of national television when she appears on “American Idol” on Sunday, March 10.

She grew up singing in local churches and also performed a few times at the Grand Country Junction, a monthly country-western show in Satsuma

Broken Halos –  Laine Hardy, who was eliminated before the Top 24 last year, is from the same small town as Ashton. He came along with Ashton as support, having NO intention of auditioning again.  They’ve been playing music together since they were wee ones.  Laine’s in the audition room to accompany Ashton on guitar. Wow. He got new teeth! And he’s been working out. And he’s got merch. So really? He has no intention to audition again? Ashton is a nursing student at a local university, but hopes to find a way into the music business. As a country singer, she’s solid. Katy notes some nerves, but thinks she has something.
