Ada Vox is set to return to “American Idol” on Sunday, April 15 along with the rest of the second group of Top 24 singers. This drag queen with a powerful voice will be joined by Ron Bultongez, Marcio Donaldson, Amelia Hammer Harris, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Garrett Jacobs, Jurnee, Mara Justine, Shannon O’Hara, Effie Passero, Maddie Poppe and Alyssa Raghu.
When Ada later auditioned in the showcase round, she sang “Creep” and easily sailed through to the Top 24, the crowd lost its mind and the judges were on their feet.”
Ada Vox Feeling Good – Ada is a little nervous about coming off as shtick. He has used his drag queen persona Ada as an alter-ego, she gives him confidence. It’s obvious he’s still working some stuff out. Would Adam be as confident a performer? Would he hold the audience in the palm of his hand the way Ada does? She powers through the performance.
There’s some over singing going on here, but man her muscular range is impressive. Katy says “Wig snatches, Wig Flew!” She adds, “You are here to win.” Lionel calls her talent grand. “You are a force to be reckoned with my dear,” he says. “Your ability to bring the house down…every time,” says Lionel. He’s auditioned for American Idol 13 times! That includes his Hollywood stint during season 12.
Monday night’s episode will be a round of celebrity duets, Ada Vox & Lea Michele – "Defying Gravity" by Idina Menzel & Kristin Chenoweth (from 'Wicked') for their Top 24 All-Star Duets performance in front of a live audience and Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie on American Idol 2018.

Stephanie Domingo This doesn’t belong on prime time television. This belongs on a Vegas strip show. This is a drag show, not a true artist. I am sorry but totally offensive.
Amy Harris Drag queens usually lip sync, so I'm pretty sure she's in the right competition. It's a singing contest!
Amy Cleckler Wow my faith in the show has been restored thank you to the last two performances OMG that was fabulous fabulous fabulous!
Mike Grusell I was waiting for someone to say the word brave.. Brave is going into war or a burning building to save someone.. Going on stage dressing in drag us not brave. It's trying to make a living.. He is definitely able to sing but brave, no
Ada Vox Feeling Good , love her voice and so happy Adam/Ada made it through. This is so great for American idol!! Such a talented singer and humble individual.
Di Geltz She was amazing! Love her. She is my favorite, and if Adam decides to sing instead, he will be my favorite. I am glad to be living in this time now because there are so many wonderful people in this world and I am thankful that there are many more that are giving them the chance to be who they are!
Savannah Cole Ada My whole family is rooting for you!! Let’s change America, one AmericanIdol at a time!
Margie Parent Ringler Don't care what any one says he's got pipes! If he should win it would be a first and definately send a message!
Abigail Lemos Ada has the best voice on this show, the reason why I watch the show.. so happy for you babe… Your so very talented…can't wait to vote for you!!!!! Much love
Ada you are absolutely amazing me and my mom been cheering for you all this time I'm so happy you made it through yes!
Jamie Mallory What is American Idol coming to? Is this what we want to represent American Idol? So ashamed at those judges.
Michael Sotelo That voice though!, we can’t deny this person has some incredible vocals.
I’m glad that Adam/Ada can have that duo just as as Kiss, Marlyn Manson, Alice Cooper among other artists that do this as their alter ego, it’s who they are.
Kathleen Kennedy Couldn't understand a word she said. Must be the eyelashes putting too much pressure on her face. Couldn't open her mouth enough.
