Tiny Kitten Attempts To Meow: We have names Today

Tiny Kitten Attempts To Meow

In honor of National Feral Cat Day, this is what life as a feral cat in a managed colony looks like.
This colony has 200+ happy, healthy cats who get fed and cared for by awesome volunteers every single day, have cozy shelters, and receive medical care if they need it. This year was the first year where we didn’t see a single pregnant female at our feeding station, which is a sign that the population here has been successfully stabilized with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) – SO exciting!

Halloween is coming:

We are incredibly grateful to Otter Co-op for supporting us by generously donating the tuna we use for trapping and socialization. They are active members of our local community, and are setting such a great example by stepping up to help take responsibility for the care and well-being of our community's unowned cats.

We have names!! And… these scampy kittens perpetrated their first escape today,

Mama: Camilla (named by Jean A.)
Black boy: Henson (named by Sally C.)
Grey boy: Fozzie (named by Mary R.)
Grey Tuxie Girl: Bean Bunny (named By Tosca M.)

Thank mew SO much to those of you who participated in the naming contest. Your support (and creativity) means the world to us, and we are so grateful!
